Vintage Revival Blue Stone Necklace

A former  1950's clip-on earring, given a second life as a one-of-a-kind statement necklace.

This piece immediately reminded me of a twilight sky—soft lavender-blue crystal framed by flashes of deep sapphire and warm amber. The original vintage earring featured a beautifully faceted center stone accented by vibrant navette-cut rhinestones, a classic combination often seen in glamorous mid-century costume jewelry.

Rather than letting a single orphaned earring sit forgotten in a jewelry box, I carefully transformed it into a wearable pendant, preserving every original stone and detail while creating an entirely new piece to be enjoyed again.

The oversized center crystal shifts beautifully depending on the light, appearing icy blue, smoky lavender, or silvery gray, while the cobalt accents add just the right amount of drama and contrast.
