Vintage Revival — Turquoise Sunburst Statement Necklace

This striking pendant began as the centerpiece of a much larger vintage statement necklace. While the original piece had seen better days, this sunburst focal immediately caught my eye. Rather than letting it disappear into a tangled strand of forgotten components, I carefully separated it and gave it a fresh new purpose.

The design features a luminous turquoise-colored cabochon surrounded by radiating metallic gold threadwork and a halo of tiny matching turquoise beads. The result feels almost celestial—a cross between a desert sun, a vintage medallion, and a piece of bohemian textile art.

Mounted on a modern gold-tone paperclip chain, the pendant now has room to shine as the star of the show.
